The organisation has access to the BDA’s extensive resources, including research, best practice guidelines, and training opportunities, which enable The Dyslexia Hut to enhance its services and provide the most up-to-date support for children with dyslexia.

Leah is a proud member of The Dyslexia Guild, a prestigious professional membership organisation for dyslexia specialists. The Dyslexia Guild is dedicated to promoting excellence in the field of dyslexia support, setting high standards for professional practice, and providing a platform for sharing knowledge and best practices among its members.

Leah holds a current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC), which is a testament to her expertise and commitment to providing high-quality dyslexia assessments. The APC is awarded by the SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC) to professionals who have demonstrated a high level of competence in the assessment of specific learning difficulties, including dyslexia.

To maintain an APC, Leah must adhere to rigorous standards and guidelines set by SASC. This includes ensuring that assessments are conducted using approved, evidence-based tools and methods, and that reports are comprehensive, accurate, and tailored to the individual needs of each client.
